Application Process

Step One

All enquiries or project ideas should be discussed with a member of the Kelvin Valley LEADER Coordination Team in the first instance. Team details can be found on our Contacts page.

Step Two

You may then be asked to complete and return an initial enquiry form which can be downloaded from the websites documents page. This form will give the coordination team a general idea of what your project entails and will help the team assess whether your project fits with the aims & objectives of the LEADER programme.

Step Three

Enquiry forms will be assessed and applicants will then be contacted by a member of the coordination team who will inform them if their project is eligible for funding or not. If it is, applicants will be asked to complete and submit a full application form to be considered by the LAG. Please be aware that an invitation to submit an application does NOT guarantee that your application will be successful.

Step Four

Applications will be circulated and assed by the LAG members and a decision will be made at the next LAG meeting. All applicants will be informed of any decisions taken on their application.

If your application is approved you will then be sent an official “letter of offer” with the terms & conditions, which will need to be signed and returned. If your project is unsuccessful a member of the team will contact you to explain the decision.
